Industrial-proven, compact, robust and innovative - these are
attributes of our IDS uEye industrial
camera family. Apart from the
"Standard Edition" uEye SE we also offer the uEye RE for
"rough
environments" and the entry level uEye LE for visualisation and
image processing in a wide range of price sensitive applications.
All these models are consequently designed for professional use and
equipped with a USB 2.0 interface.
The Gigabit Ethernet uEye cameras with GigE interface build a new
performance class. The GigE uEye HE models even offer further
features for sophisticated, complex machine vision and image
processing applications.
CMOS or CCD sensors with resolutions from 0.3 to 5 mega pixels make
sure that the cameras can be used in various application areas. A

The GigE uEyeŽ SE extends the broad range of uEyeŽ industrial
cameras by very compact models with Gigabit Ethernet interface,
specially tailored to the needs of plant and machinery manufacturers.
High-quality CCD and CMOS sensors with resolutions from VGA to 5
Megapixels make way for a wide range of applications.
The GigE uEyeŽ SE models are not only driver compatible with all
cameras of the uEyeŽ range and across all interfaces, but also use
the same SDK. The outcome is a camera that integrates into existing
environments without any changes required.
In addition the uEyeŽ SE provides the same plug-and-play ease for
which IDS cameras are widely appreciated: Even Gigabit Ethernet
models are configured automatically and are ready for use
immediately.

Cameras
The GigE uEyeŽ HE industrial camera extends the broad range of USB
industrial cameras by powerful models for sophisticated, complex
machine vision and image processing applications. The bandwidth is
2.5 times higher than with USB and cable lengths up to 100 m are
possible.
The GigE camera is a completely newly developed product whose rich
set of features is based on customers needs and introduces a new
performance class. The models are equipped with a C-mount lens
connector with adjustable mounting dimensions. A symmetrical housing
permits mounting at 90/180 degrees without having to create new
holders.
Strong communicative skills are another strong point of the GigE
camera. Besides a trigger input and a flash output, which are both
optically decoupled, the newcomers have a RS232 interface and two
GPIO ports that can be used either as digital inputs or digital
outputs.
Inside the industrial camera two processor cores provide superior
performance. The Plug and Play Camera Manager, self-developed by IDS,
makes installation and integration just as easy as with the USB
versions. The software development kit is identical, which means
that upgrading to the GigE does not require any changes to the
application and takes only a few minutes.

The USB uEye ME - the "Machine Edition" of the already successful
uEye family of USB cameras - features a completely new housing
concept. With its right angle design, the uEye ME is ideal for
vision applications where there are space constraints. In addition,
its lockable connectors and the industrial grade metal housing make
the uEye ME suitable for vision applications where reliable
performance is required under the most strenuous conditions
encountered in many industrial environments.
High-quality CCD and CMOS sensors with resolutions from VGA to 5
Megapixels make way for a wide range of applications. Many models
are available with colour or monochrome sensors at the same price.
The comprehensive uEye Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows
and Linux is included for free and driver-compatible with all uEye
cameras.

uEye RE USB2.0 Industrial Cameras
The uEye RE is as well as the standard uEye a family of affordable
and extremely compact industrial cameras with USB interface for
professional use.
Additionally the RE models are extraordinarily robust and suitable
for an extended range of applications. In connection with the lens
tubes they meet the protection classes IP65 and IP67.
The USB connection and the I/O signal connection are made through
two plugs that meet the same protection classes. The uEye RE range
is therefore particularly well suited to rough environments. All
uEye industrial camera models are also available as uEye RE versions.

uEye LE USB2.0 Industrial Cameras
The uEye LE stands for a family of extremely compact cameras for
professional use in visualisation and image processing. Through the
use of the widespread USB technology the cameras can be interfaced
with a vast variety of systems without problems.
uEyeLE cameras feature a range of high-performance CMOS sensors. The
product range includes several models with WideVGA resolution and a
maximum of 87 full frames per second, as well as a high-resolution
5-megapixel camera.
The uEyeLE series comes in different variants with or without
housing. The CS-mount lens adapter of the housing model allows the
use of compact, low-cost lenses. With the optional distance adapter
you can also use C-mount lenses. The boardlevel variants of the
cameras provide S-mount lens adapters for M12/M14 screw-mounted
lenses, which achieve a slimmer profile. The LE models can also be
used as the basis for special project-related designs.

Cables in various lengths and styles,
Trigger and Flash cables with or without power supply unit, Power
supplies for GigE uEye SE cameras, USB
hubs suitable for industrial use, active extension cables and USB
interfaces are available
to round off the uEye range of cameras. In order to take full
advantage of the short installation length of the camera we also
offer angeled connectors. These are available with or without
trigger connections and also in a dragline-compatible version.
In addition to the standard cables, we also offer
dragline-compatible special cables outside the USB 2.0 specification
in lengths of up to 10m for the uEye RE models. This range of
accessories is also completed by a four-port USB hub with optional
DIN rail mounting and protection class IP65/IP67.
